The story of Flor de Caña began in 1890, when Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa, a young explorer from Italy, risked everything to travel to exotic Nicaragua. There he found the ideal place for the distillery of Flor de Caña, at the foot of the San Cristóbal volcano, the tallest and most active volcano in Nicaragua. The fertility of the surrounding areas, the enriched water and the hot volcanic climate proved decisive for the distinguished character of the Flor de Caña.
Through its 130-year history, the company and the family have survived plane crashes, civil war, nationalizations, hyperinflation, fires, hurricanes, earthquakes and even volcanic eruptions… Against all odds, the company managed to remain a family business for five generations!

It was bottled after 30 years as a tribute to the 5th generation of the Pellas family, which still produces this rum today.
Flor De Caña Terra
Flor De Caña Terra is a brown rum colored from Nicaragua, aged 15 years in barrels that housed bourbon.

It is an excellent liqueur from the producers of Flor de Caña made with aged rum made from molasses and natural coffee aromas.

It is a rum-based coconut liqueur and has been aged for four years in oak barrels.
