Since its founding in 1779, Kinahan’s has been known for its innovative and unusual approach to maturation, creating new and unconventional flavors in whiskeys
using rare types of wood and processing.

Wood is treated as the main source of all flavor. The way it ages and
process, as well as the origin of the tree help to create a
different flavor effect on whiskey.

For this reason, they have created hybrid barrels. That is, barrels by
ordered, handmade and made of rare wood items. The ultimate goal of Kinahan’s Irish Whiskey is to continue to evolve
tastefully, for the next generations, so that whiskey lovers will always find it interesting.

Therefore, sustainability is the core of the entire company and for this reason it is a
of the only 350 food and beverage companies in Ireland with certification
sustainability. As a member of the ORIGIN GREEN program under the leadership of
government, Kinahan’s Irish Whiskey continues its focus on sustainability
(both environmental and social).

THE KASC PROJECT [B]

The first whiskey exclusively from a hybrid
barrel. A combination of wheat and malt. (Blended grain malt)

Wood Combination… (Hybrid Cask Composition):
Drys from America, France, Portugal and Hungary, combined with walnut.

Perfume
Red plum, pear notes, red apple, tropical fruits and spices with notes
Mediterranean caramel.

Taste
Vanilla, oak notes of ripe mango with
Caramelized Tropical Fruits & Chocolate
caramel, sun-dried raisins & figs.

Aftertaste
Mild flavor of nutmeg, orange, cloves, floral sweet honeycomb &
syrupy pineapple.

The first single malt whiskey exclusively from a hybrid barrel. Single Malt Irish Whiskey (100% malted barley)

Perfume
Fresh mango & pineapple, pear with spices, molasses and notes of oak.

Taste
Dried apricots, caramelized
tropical fruits, sweet sun-dried Malvasia grapes and burnt espresso sugar.

Aftertaste
Madeira cake, pineapple and burnt cereal with pleasant creamy tannins.

peaches, roasted almonds, and notes of butter.

The KASC PROJECT L.L.

The KASC Project [L.L.] is a blended Irish whiskey created as a version of the already successful The KASC Project [B] — the world’s first Hybrid Cask Irish whiskey.

The KASC Project [L.L.] is the only version of the KASC Project family that does not fully mature in Kinahan’s hybrid barrels.

Its taste is somewhat softer, compared to The KASC Project [B]. Nevertheless, the basic flavors and characteristics of this edition are inspired by and designed strictly based on the original style of The KASC Project [B]
