In the iconic space of the Michelin-starred restaurant Patio, located in the most “speakeasy” courtyard of The Margi Hotel, an impressive dinner starring Casa Dragones Tequila from Mexico was organized.

Selected journalists and key people in the field of super premium drinks, were invited to enjoy a carefully selected food-pairing dinner, curated by chef Panagiotis Giakalis and his team to ideally match the different spirits of Casa Dragones Tequila.

The evening started with a refreshing cocktail based on Casa Dragones Blanco and continued with the rest of the dishes on the menu, with the discreet guidance of Sky Spirits Expert, Panagiotis Fragos, who described the flavor match of each dish with the selected dish served. In this way, we learned in the most interactive way, the history of this famous brand, why it deserves our attention, and why it has become the No. 1 tequila in America.

From the urchin egg mousse and ouzo & lemon foam that was ideally combined with Casa Dragones Blanco, to the dark truffle chocolate with pecan praline and smoked honey that was impressively served with the tobacco characteristics of Casa Dragones Anejo, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all the senses.

Another surprise was the combination of cod with a tequila-based Martini cocktail, which made a splash.

So, from a beautiful October evening, it evolved into an impressive experience that invites us to change the way a super premium tequila can be combined with high gastronomy.
