A blended malt whisky created for the iconic “Juveniles Bistrot a Vins,” a bistro located in the center of Paris. The philosophy behind this particular whisky is to bring forward the lighter aromas of a malt, so that it becomes ideal to pair with food, like a good wine. As a result, we have a blended malt whisky with a botanical character and notes of vanilla, ideal to pair with some cheese or food. Compass Box takes us back to 2000. At that time, John Glaser believed that there were far too many companies making and selling Scotch whisky in the same way. So, he created a different type of company based on an old model, which involves blending at home, but with a progressive approach and an unceasing desire to create quality. Today, Compass Box holds a new method of producing blended Scotch and malt whisky. This is the creation of open-minded, original, and different.
