Compass Box This Is Not A Blend

Following Myths & Legends I and II, dedicated to Balblair and Glen Elgin distilleries respectively, London-based Compass Box has created a third single malt, dedicated to the Clynelish distillery.
This edition, playfully named This is not a Blend, is the result of blending seven bourbon casks, distilled in 2015, which were then matured for eight weeks in Bowmore 2002 casks.
Enchanted by a green and marine atmosphere, with subtle notes of peat and liquorice, its aromatic and flavour profile unfolds during the tasting, with agricultural notes of great freshness and a particularly airy elegance.
