Compass Box Confidence
Compass Box Confidence is made up of a Lowland single grain, a Highland single malt, two Speyside single malts and Compass Box’s blended malt “The Circle”. It was bottled at 55.3% ABV.
Compass Box Fortitude
Compass Box Fortitude is a rich, peaty and balanced blend, bottled at 52.5% ABV. It is made from a Lowland single grain, a Speyside single malt, a Highland blended malt and Compass Box’s smoky blended malt “No Name”.
Compass Box Generosity
Compass Box Generosity Artist #11 is a sweet and exotic whisky, with fruity, herbal and spicy notes. The blend consists of two mature single grain whiskies and is bottled at 51.9% ABV.
Compass Box Wisdom
Compass Box Wisdom is rich, layered and spicy. The majority of the blend is Highland malt. It also includes two mature single grain whiskies from the same Lowlands distillery, as well as a small amount of pre-blended Scotch whisky.
Compass Box Wonder
Compass Box Wonder is made up of two “very old” single malts: a Highland malt that represents 66% of the blend and an island single malt that makes up the remaining 34%. Wonder is a peaty whisky, with earthy notes.
The Artist Range is an annual collection of independently bottled single malts and whiskies, released by French whisky giant La Maison Du Whisky. For the 11th edition of the Artist Range, they have teamed up with the Scottish master blenders of Compass Box, who have taken on the task of bottling exclusively for the Artist #11 label. The result is five truly impressive blended Scotch malts: Confidence, Fortitude, Generosity, Wisdom and Wonder, collectively known as the Compass Box Confidence Artist #11 Pentalogy.
The artwork that adorns the five bottles has been created by surrealist artist Charlotte Massip. She draws inspiration from Vesalius’ anatomical drawings, Leonardo da Vinci’s machines and Dürer’s engravings. Combining historical references with contemporary elements, the result is a unique contemporary work of art. Only 966 bottles of Compass Box Confidence Artist #11 were released.
