Triple Sec is a liqueur that was discovered in France from the bittersweet taste of orange. The original is still made today with orange peels that are dried in the sun, from oranges taken from Haiti. The word “sec” in French means dry. With a mild flavor of peel and orange oils, MONIN Triple Sec will give your drinks great complexity.
Monin originates from France and is the #1 Syrup worldwide! Monin liqueurs are based on a neutral spirit, which is dipped with fruit peels, spices or mixed with natural oils to give each flavor. In addition, Monin uses fresh sugar in its products to enhance the flavor and for a natural preservative.
On an ordinary evening in the early 1900s, George Monin had organized the perfect family dinner, but at the end of the evening he realized he couldn’t find any high-quality liqueur to offer his guests. That’s how it all started, as that night was the reason for his decision to make his own liqueur. In 1912 he sold his own spirits for the first time in a small French town, Bourges. From the very first moment, its slogan was “Passion for quality”. Of course, he couldn’t have imagined that a hundred years later his family business would be the most successful syrup company in the world, keeping the same slogan. In 1950 Paul Monin took over the business and included syrups in its portfolio. Today, Monin operates in 140 countries but remains a family business, led by his grandson Olivier Monin. It remains true to its original values and provides high-quality products, constantly innovating and serving creativity.
