A true masterpiece, The Nikka Nine Decades is the result of the composition of 50 different whiskies, writing, note by note, the music of an epic story that began in 1934.
This anniversary cuvée includes whiskey from Nikka’s oldest barrel — a Yoichi distilled in 1945 — as well as many aging of the same single malt from the 1950s to 2020, Miyagikyo from the 1960s to 2020, Coffey Grain and Coffey Malt from Nishinomiya and Miyagikyo distilleries, as well as more recent grain whiskies from Moji and Satsuma Tsukasa.
Echoing Nikka’s historical ties to Scotland, the blend also includes Ben Nevis from the 1960s to 2020.
Imbued with mature wisdom, but at the same time surprisingly youthful in spirit, its aromatic and flavorful profile is run through smoky, peaty notes, dried apricot and spices, expressing the style of Nikka Whiskey with brilliance and harmony.
